Musicality Gets Support from Gorseinon Town Council
We were thrilled to attend the Annual Mayor’s Dinner this April in Gorseinon where along with many other community groups we were invited to enjoy an evening of appreciation and grant giving. Many groups were represented at the evening including the local lifeboat station, scouts, brass band, rugby, cricket and boxing clubs to name a few!
Musicality Academy is extremely grateful to Gorseinon Town Council for recognising the arts as a worthwhile cause and on this occasion their donation was given in support of our new ballet and fitness classes. In her speech, Company Principal Amanda Murphy explained that both Ballet and Fitness had been introduced to the academy to ensure that all pupils were given the opportunity to grow technically and that they were fit enough to endure full training in the arts should they be lucky enough to successfully audition at top drama schools.
Amanda was accompanied by her partner Martyn Luckwell who recently played ‘Mr Bumble’ in Musicalitys’ production of ‘Oliver’, which has just been nominated for 3 NODA Awards! The award ceremony being in Hereford at the end of May….we wait with baited breath for the results! NODA AWARD NOMINATIONS
