Unusual times have meant unusual lessons at Musicality Academy during lockdown.
With Musicality classes centred so strongly around rehearsals and creative teamwork, we decided to avoid the ‘Zoom’ online lessons and instead, have been offering free, ‘classes as un-usual’ to anyone who wants to take part. The idea is to keep our students creative in lockdown and especially in the case of our younger students, busy and occupied!
Our classes as un ‘usual’ have so far included:
Musical Theatre colouring sheets
Dance routines to learn
Scripts to perform with the family
Musical Theatre Crosswords and Wordsearches
Vocal warm ups
Quizzes
Tongue Twister vocal exercises and Acting techniques
Theatre terms to learn and many more!
The feedback has been wonderful, with many of the pupils sending us videos of their routines and photographs of their work, many of which have been shared on our Musicality Facebook page.
We are hoping that it won’t be too long before classes resume but in the meantime, we are quite enjoying our classes as un usual and thank all our students and their families for their fabulous support!
